Firefighters are pumping water from roads in Kennington, Chalgrove and Didcot.

A culvert broke in Kennington Road, Kennington, and firefighters have been removing water from the road and Upper Road since just after 8pm last night.

At one point water spilt into a property in the road.

Another culvert which broke in Mill Lane, Chalgrove, has kept fire crews busy since 10.10pm last night.

Flood water from thawed snow has also penetrated front and rear gardens in Drake Avenue, Didcot.

A spokesman for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews had also been called to Milton Heights near Didcot and Brightwell Baldwin in south Oxfordshire to deal with flooding overnight.

Flood water has also been spotted near the A4130 junction of Grove Road, Harwell, around the Monument Road junction of the B480 in Chalgrove, between the A418 junction and the B480 junction of the A329 in Thame, on the B4017 in Drayton between High Street and Hanney Road, on Oxford Road in Farmoor between Cumnor Road and the A420, on Challow Road, Wantage, between Denchworth Road and Park Lane, and on the B4015 in Chiselhampton between the B480 junction and the A4074 junction.
