Four abreast on a country road?
These days, of course, it would be asking for trouble, but the roads were much quieter in 1959 when this picture was taken for the Oxford Mail.
Four members of the Oxford City Road Club – Mick Payton, Neil Hickey, Les Tapping and Arthur Shepherd – were photographed out on a run through the countryside to Gloucestershire on their bikes and trikes.
