Police discovered a cannabis factory in Mill Street, Eynsham, yesterday seizing more than 100 cannabis plants.
PC Leigh Thompson, Drugs Co-ordinator for Oxfordshire, said: “Drugs are a huge priority for us and we will continue to crack down on those supplying and trading in them.
“Following a search of the premises, a complex system of lighting and filtration systems, together with a 103 cannabis plants were recovered. All of the plants and equipment have now been seized.
“I would like to ask landlords to make sure they do regular inspections at their properties, and to contact the police if they think there is anything suspicious.”
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area or may have any information to help the inquiry to get in touch.”
A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis. He has been bailed until 17 March pending further enquiries.
