Could the bosses from the Oxford Bus Company and Stagecoach please tell me why they bother to put advisory notices in their buses warning passengers to ‘remain in their seats until the bus comes completely to a standstill for their own safety’, when most drivers pull away before passengers have a change to get to their seats?

We have to make a sudden grab for the handrails to avoid being thrown to the ground. And I have often seen passengers hurrying to their seats in a race against time before the bus moves off.
