A list of the people convicted of offences at magistrates' courts around the county recently:
OXFORD: Leslie Belcher, 48, of Stanway Road, Headington, admitted possessing amphetamine at Oxford on October 10. Fined £140, ordered to pay £60 costs and £15 victim’s surcharge.
Andrew Harris, 27, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted attempting to steal a bottle of wine worth £4.99, from Threshers in Oxford on October 23. Fined £100, ordered to pay £100 costs and a £15 victim’s surcharge. Also admitted commission of a further offence during a suspended sentence on September 22. Period extended by one month.
Eamon Prenderville, 27, of Sandy Lane, Oxford, admitted using threatening behaviour at Oxford on November 1. Given a community order to undertake aggression replacement training for 18 months, and ordered to pay £65 costs.
Mark Hapgood, 25, of Ashmole Place, Oxford, admitted assault at Oxford on December 3. Also admitted another assault on December 3. Given a community order to carry out 80 hours unpaid work within the next 12 months, attend aggression replacement training, and pay £50 compensation.
Alex Walker, 27, of Clarks Row, Oxford, admitted stealing an iPod docking station to the value of £97.86, from Currys, Oxford, on December 4. Also admitted commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge, on October 31. Also admitted stealing a Boss fragrance set to the value of £29.99, from Superdrug Oxford, December 29. Also admitted stealing a Calvin Klein fragrance set to the value of £23.97 belonging to the Perfume Shop on November 28. Given a community order to have treatment for drug dependency for 12 months, a supervision requirement made for 18 months.
Mark Allison, 27, of Ash Grove, Chesterton, admitted assault at Oxford on April 26. Given a community order to carry out unpaid work for 125 hours within the next 12 months. Also ordered to pay £200 compensation and costs of £415.
Justin Ritson, 38, of Franklin Road, Headington, admitted using a car without third party insurance on Franklin Road, Oxford, on May 22. Given six points on licence, fined £100, and ordered to pay costs of £15.
Tobiase Miyigena, 37, of Brampton Road, Headington, admitted using a car without third party insurance, on Plover Drive, Greater Leys, on September 26. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 victim’s surcharge.
Raymond Jack, 42, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening behaviour at Oxford on December 2. Ordered to pay £100 compensation and £60 costs.
Nicholas Hill, 33, of Bellenger Way, Kidlington, admitted assault at Oxford on December 7. Given a community order to be under a curfew for four months, and to undertake a cognitive skills booster programme. Also ordered to pay £125 compensation and £60 costs.
BANBURY: Kriss Rigby, 49, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, failed to comply with a community order on December 11. Order varied, 10 hours unpaid work added for breach. Also ordered to pay costs of £50.
Ian Steele, 19, of Bracken Close, Carterton, convicted of assault at Witney on July 27. Given a community order to be under a curfew for five months, attend appointments with an officer for 12 months, and also attend aggression replacement training as directed. £50 compensation, and £650 costs.
Stuart Bentley, 28, of Salvia Close, Banbury, admitted using a car without third party insurance, at Banbury on November 1. Banned from driving for six months, fined £120, ordered to pay £60 costs and a victim’s surcharge of £15.
Richard Todd, 44, of Prescote Gardens, Cropredy, admitted drink driving on Southam Road, Banbury, on December 30. Found to have 87 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Banned from driving for 20 months, fined £400, ordered to pay £60 costs and a £15 victim’s surcharge.
David Lazell, 30, of Winterbourne Close, Bicester, admitted stealing two tubs of ice cream worth £7.86, from Tesco, Bicester, on September 7. Given a community order for 12 months and ordered to attend drug rehabillitation sessions. Also admitted stealing three bottles of whisky, to the value of £110.97, on August 21, from Tesco, Bicester. Ordered to pay £110.97 compensation, and £120 costs. Also admitted stealing a pressure jet washer to the value of £199 from Homebase, Bicester on January 3. Given a 12-month community order and also ordered to attend drug rehabilitation sessions.
Otto Kuhne, 28, of Bartsia Road, Bicester, admitted stealing a handbag at Bicester on December 15. Given a 12 week sentence, suspended for two years. Ordered to pay £300 compensation.
John Bolton, 40, of East Street, Banbury, admitted criminal damage at Banbury on November 11. Conditionally discharged for 18 months, and ordered to pay £30 costs.
Colin Checksfield, 41, of St George’s Barracks, Arncott, admitted criminal damage to items of clothing valued over £5,000 at Chesterton, on December 20. Conditionally discharged for 18 months, ordered to pay £5,000 compensation and £60 costs.
Philip Sinetto, 28, of Prescott Avenue, Banbury, admitted drink driving on the A4260, New Street, Deddington, on December 28. Found to have 62 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Banned from driving for 18 months, fined £100, ordered to pay £30 costs and a £15 victim’s surcharge.
Kelly Barrett, 30, of Kings Road, Banbury, admitted threatening behaviour at Banbury on August 9. Conditionally discharged for six months and ordered to pay £20 costs.
Lenny Butler, 20, of Austen Walk, Bicester, admitted possessing a kitchen knife at Bicester on December 24. Committed to a youth offender institution for one month.
BICESTER: Justin Lambourne, 35, of Van Diemans Road, Thame, admitted failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis at Kidlington on October 28. Also admitted using a vehicle without third party insurance on October 28. Banned from driving for 17 months, fined £120, ordered to pay £250 costs and a £15 victim’s surcharge.
DIDCOT: Ben Pickett, 25, of Ormond Road, Wantage, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order on December 23.
Order revoked, ordered to pay £50 costs. Also admitted driving while disqualified In Thornhill Close, Wantage, on November 25. Also admitted failing to stop when directed by a traffic warden on November 25. Given a community order to attend appointments with a responsible officer for six months.
