A 60-year-old man is fighting for his life after he was involved in an collision with a car in Oxford city centre.
A silver Peugeot 306 collided with the man in St Aldates, outside Christ Church, at around 7pm yesterday.
He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital where his condition today was described as “critical”.
The 20-year-old driver of the Peugeot was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and released on bail.
Police are keen to speak to the driver of a white car in the area at the time.
