Heavy snow is suspected of causing damage to two homes in Oxfordshire.
A car port collapsed at a house in Hedgemead Avenue, off Radley Road, Abingdon, at about 10.20am yesterday.
And 20 minutes later a chimney stack fell from the roof of a house in Roundhouse Road, Hook Norton.
No one was hurt. Fire crews who attended both incidents believed the weight of fallen snow triggered the collapses.
