Headteacher Chris Crouch may have thought it was a bad idea to open his school after he was pelted by pupils, left.
“I just kept saying to them, ‘not the face, not the face’,” said Mr Crouch.
His school, St Aloysius RC Primary School in Woodstock Road, Oxford, has opened every day.
He added: “A lot of the parents have really appreciated the fact that we have opened as it makes it easier for them.
“The children have really enjoyed themselves, building snowmen and sledging. It’s been a bit different for them.”
In Oxfordshire today, 266 out of 290 schools were shut.
