Road temperatures in Oxfordshire are set to dip below freezing from sunset today, but the worst of the snowfall has passed, the Met Office said.
It is predicting clear skies overnight with temperatures dropping to -5C.
Tomorrow is set to be bright and sunny with temperatures of 1C to 2C, but snow could return on Sunday afternoon.
A spokesman said: “The good news is the worst is over from a snow point of view.
“However, it will get frosty very quickly over night with temperatures of minus five across the county.
“Road temperatures will get down below zero from dusk onwards.
“Clear skies tomorrow will mean plenty of sunshine with temperatures of plus one or two.
“It will be another frosty night with temperatures down to -5C. Towards the end of Saturday night a band of cloud from the west could bring sleet and snow to the county on Sunday afternoon and in to the evening.
“Oxfordshire is just on the cusp of where snow is expected. It could be the north of the county that gets it.”
Temperatures on Sunday night into Monday morning are expected to dip to -2C.
