Heavy snow is affecting roads and rubbish collections across southern Oxfordshire.
Oxfordshire County Council spokesman said most roads in south Oxfordshire were only passable with care apart from the A417, which is closed both ways near the B4001 New Road junction in Goosey.
The bad weather has closed the A34 between Marcham and Milton interchanges near Abingdon and people trying to avoid the dual carriage way are using slippery roads through Steventon.
The Oxford Road heading out of Abingdon is partially blocked by vehicles between the Twelve Acre Drive roundabout and the Abingdon North turn for the A34.
Stagecoach has suspended all of its services around the county except the Oxford Tube.
People in Berinsfield, Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, Clifton Hampden, Didcot, Dorchester, Drayton St Leonard, Little Wittenham and Long Wittenham, will have to wait until next Friday for their bins to be collected after drivers found road conditions too treacherous.
A spokesman for the Vale of White Horse District Council said it had cancelled all its rubbish collections today and tomorrow but said double collections would take place on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week.
