More than 100 jobs are on offer at a special jobs fair being held in Oxford.
The Jobcentre Plus event at Oxford Town Hall next Wednesday will feature employers including Oxfordshire County Council offering a wide variety of jobs from retail to social and healthcare.
Organisations specialising in training will also be on hand along with advisers giving help and advice on how to apply for jobs, complete application forms and provide information on the range of help that may be available to people when they start work.
Diane McKenna-Rhead, employer engagement manager for Jobcentre Plus in Oxford said: “We have a great range of vacancies and employers coming to the jobs fair looking for potential employees.
“There are day, evening and weekend shifts available and these positions would suit anyone looking for work, whether they are parents looking to work around school hours, students looking for part time work and those looking for temporary employment.”
The jobs fair will take place on February 11 from 1-4pm.
For people who are unable to attend, a wide range of vacancies can be found at www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk or by calling Jobseeker Direct on 0845 6060 234.
