Traffic is now running smoothly on the A420 between Oxford and Swindon after an earlier accident was cleared.
The driver of a lorry was taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon after the vehicle jack-knifed at the Pusey turn, near Southmoor, shortly before 4am.
His injuries were not life-threatening.
The westbound carriageway reopened at 9.30am, with traffic police remaining at the scene until 10.30am to make sure traffic was flowing smoothly.
