Any snow affecting the county is likely to be mainly on higher ground, and will in general turn to rain and sleet later on, the Met Office said today.
A spokesman said: “Oxfordshire is right on the borderline. We have got a more wintry mix moving up from the south this evening and tonight.
“As it starts, there may well be snow towards midnight but as the night goes on that will increasingly turn to rain and sleet.
“It will probably stay that way through tomorrow, although it will be getting drier.
“The best chance of snow this evening is to the north of the county and on higher ground, where there might be about 2cm of it.”
