Emergency services were today dealing with seven crashes on the A40 between Witney and Oxford.
The crashes included one on the Ducklington slip road at 7.50am.
Vicky Brandon, a spokesman for Thames Valley Police, said: “A woman was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for treatment by ambulance staff after her car spun on the ice.”
Elsewhere, delays were caused on the A417 both ways near Goosey Lane after a crash involving four vehicles.
A crash on the A420 near the A415 junction at Kingston Bagpuize has also partially blocked the road.
A broken-down lorry on the northbound A34 at Gore Hill, near East Ilsley, has blocked one lane, leading to tailbacks.
And a car and a van were involved in a crash on the Oxford Eastern Bypass near the Littlemore roundabout.
