Snow and ice was not to blame for a crash which killed a lorry driver in Oxfordshire yesterday.
A lorry and BMW X5 collided on the A420 at Southmoor at about 3.45pm following hours of snow and freezing temperatures which caused problems across the county’s roads.
A 59-year-old lorry driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police investigating the crash do not believe the bad weather was to blame.
They are appealing for any witnesses to call them on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
