Thieves stole angling equipment worth £1,000 from the porch of a Banbury home.
Between 8pm and 11.30pm on Friday, thieves stole the equipment from the porch of a house in Windrush.
Det Con Jane May said: “The offenders stole fishing equipment, including umbrellas and fishing rods, worth around £1,000.
“The occupants of the house were home at the time but did not hear or see the thieves. I appeal to anyone who was in this area of Banbury on Friday evening and saw people acting suspiciously to contact police.”
