More than 600 people turned out for a anti-war demonstration in the city centre yesterday.
People protesting against the war betwen Gaza and Israel marched along Broad Street at 1pm before finishing at Bonn Square at 3.30pm.
This was the third — and largest — demonstration against the conflict to be held in the city so far.
A police spokesman said the event passed without any trouble and was well managed by the organisers.
No arrests were made.
