A 30-year-old man is due in court today accused of money possessing firearms.

Jamie-Lee Rowland, of Mandlebrote Drive, Littlemore, Oxford, was arrested yesterday morning by officers from the Organised Crime Group as part of an investigation into brothels and prostitution.

Police carried out warrants at six addresses across the Thames Valley including Mandlebrote Drive and Pheasant Walk in Littlemore and Ladder Hill, Wheatley.

Rowland was arrested and charged on suspicion of being concerned in the management of brothels contrary to section 33A of the Sexual Offences Act 1956 and money laundering. He has been bailed on those charges.

He has been charged with one count of possessing a bladed article and two counts of possessing a firearm and is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.

He has been bailed in relation to the management of brothels and money laundering offence.

A 37-year-old woman was arrested from the Ladder Hill address on suspicion of being concerned in the management of brothels and money laundering has been released on police bail until 16 December.
