The Rose Hill neighbourhood team will officially open their new police office in The Oval today.

Neighbourhood Inspector Andy Storey said: “The neighbourhood team now have their own office in the heart of Rose Hill, making them more accessible to the public.

“The team has been working closely with the community of Rose Hill to tackle issues that affect their quality of life.

"I know that a lot of positive work has been carried out, jointly with partner agencies and the community, to improve the Rose Hill neighbourhood, making it an even safer place to live.”

Richard Adams, Community Safety Manager from Oxford City Council, said: “The police office will also be used by the street wardens who work very closely with the neighbourhood team. This will bring the community of Rose Hill even closer to the police and council and will hopefully allow everyone to work closely to tackle issues that affect peoples’ quality of life.”
