Delays of about 30 minutes are expected on the A34 northbound following a lorry breakdown.
A lorry closed the left hand lane of the road earlier, at the Kidlington junction, but the road has been reopened.
The Highways Agency are warning of severe delays between junction 9 with the M40 and junction 13 with the M4 but normal traffic conditions are expected by 3.30pm.
