A pub's late-night drink licence has been taken away after neighbours complained about noise and rowdy behaviour.
At a hearing earlier this month South Oxfordshire District Council's licensing committee decided to strip the Plough, in Garsington, of the extra hours. For the past two years, the pub was allowed to stay open until 2am at weekends. It must now shut at 11.30pm every day.
Landlord Lewis Johnson said he might have to stop sponsoring football, Aunt Sally and darts teams, due to a loss of revenue as a result of the decision.
