Rockets will be lighting the skies of Oxfordshire over the coming days as the county celebrates Guy Fawkes Night.

To save readers time trying to find their nearest event, we have a round-up of displays that will be taking place in their area.

Skyline Promotions owner Derek Hayes, who will be overseeing several displays in Oxfordshire — including ones in Didcot, Kidlington and Abingdon — said organised displays gave people more value for money.

Mr Hayes said: "If you go down to your local shop with £20 looking to buy some fireworks then you won't get very many.

"By coming to a display you get to see a good 20 or 30 minutes of solid fireworks that cost thousands of pounds — and you don't have the bother of setting them off."
