Rail passengers were stranded for 40 minutes during rush hour this morning after a points failure at Oxford.
Network Rail has apologised and warned of severe delays on the Cotswold Line between Oxford and Worcester this morning.
The train was stuck at Wolvercote Junction at 7.30am and finally got moving at 8.10am after engineers fixed the electrical fault.
Commuters have reported long delays and cancellations on the line.
