Commuters are experiencing severe delays on the M40 this morning following an earlier collision between two lorries.
Traffic has ground to a halt on the southbound carriageway and is currently backed-up to from junction six at Lewknor, where it was closed off earlier, to junction eight in Tiddington.
Diversion routes have been put into place along the A40 which has also caused high volumes of traffic and delays.
Other routes, including the A4130 and the A34 are also experiencing delays, as motorists try to make their way round the closure of the M40 between junction six southbound and junction four northbound.
