Twelve workers at troubled textile retailer Rosebys have lost their jobs after administrators decided to close more stores.
The firm, which was taken into administration last month, has closed its Oxford branch in the Westgate Centre with the loss of six jobs and a further six have gone at the store in the Castle Quay Shopping Centre in Banbury.
But the concession within the Homestyle store in the Banbury Cross Retail Park, Banbury which employs seven people, is continuing to trade.
Howard Smith, joint administrator with specialist firm KPMG, said: "It is disappointing but unavoidable to be continuing to close stores, resulting in redundancies."
He added that discussions regarding the sale of the remaining 183 outlets including Banbury around the country were continuing. A total of 97 stores have now shut down.
