A drug dealer sliced off a woman's ear over a £10 drugs debt.
Patricia Amos — who was the first parent jailed for truancy in Britain — was made to kneel in Teddy Bear Woods, near Banbury, by dealer Andre Singh who cut off the top of her ear.
Singh, 29, from Wednesbury, in West Midlands, was convicted of wounding with intent and having cocaine with intent to supply at Birmingham Crown Court yesterday The court heard Ms Amos, of Thornbury Rise, in Banbury, owed Singh £400 for drugs but only had £390.
She was ordered to Teddy Bear Woods on 20 March last year, where she had been met by Singh and another unidentified man, the court heard.
A gun was placed in her mouth and she was told to kneel.
Ms Amos, 48, then felt a pulling on her left ear and pain as the top was sliced off, the jury was told.
She staggered out of the woods and found some youths nearby and pleaded for help.
Ms Amos became the first parent in the country to be jailed for letting her daughter play truant in 2002.
The jury also found Singh guilty of shooting a man twice in the leg over a drug debt.
He was also convicted of possessing a stun gun without a firearms certificate.
Singh was remanded in custody to be sentenced at a later date.
