Up to 100 cyclists dressed as ghosts, ghouls and things which go bump in the night are set to take to the streets of Oxford tomorrow.
It is the latest of 'alleycat' cycle rides, a bicycle treasure hunt in fancy dress, and is due to start in Broad Street at 7pm. The event is called A Very Hallowe'en Alleycat, which will include Halloween-themed check points where participants will have to engage in various tasks before they can move on to the next point.
It will culminate at the Ultimate Picture Palace — with a special showing of Beetlejuice. The event is organised by Oxford Cycle Workshop, in Magdalen Road, and is the latest of several such events aimed at getting people to explore the city by cycle.
