I recently underwent surgery at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre at Headington, Oxford, and wanted to write to highlight what a wonderful hospital this is.
I felt safe and was reassured all along the way.
All of the staff were friendly and professional.
The medical/surgical team were approachable and listened, then explained everything to me.
The room and bathroom were spotless and comfortable and the food was delicious.
Top marks for a wonderful little NHS hospital in 2008.
What a lucky patient I was.
Patients who whinge about hospitals and doctors and nurses should perhaps thank their lucky stars that they live on this side of the planet where we have such an exemplary service.
