Police this afternoon appealed for witnesses to a crash near Witney today that left a teenager seriously injured.
Between 6am and 6.30am, a black Honda motorcycle travelling in the direction of Abingdon, was involved in a collision with a heavy goods vehicle on the A415 south of Ducklington, near the Ducklington Mill junction.
Its rider — a 17-year-old from Carterton — suffered multiple injuries and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
A police spokesman said: "If anyone witnessed the collision or the moments beforehand, please contact PC David Roberts-Ablett at the Bicester Roads Policing Department via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.
"If you don’t want to talk to police and don’t want to leave your name, call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111."
