A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a lorry outside Didcot this morning.
The accident happened shortly after 2am, on the A4130 between the Southmead Industrial Estate and the Milton Road turning.
The motorcyclist was riding a red Honda bike and was involved in a crash with a Volvo heavy goods vehicle.
Claire Gourlay, a spokesman for Thames Valley Police, said the motorcyclist was in his early 20s and from Didcot. He has not yet been identified.
She said he was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where he later died.
The driver of the lorry was not injured in the crash and has not been arrested.
The road was closed for five hours while police accident investigators examined the crash site.
A second crash involving a lorry and a motorbike happened on the A415 at Ducklington in west Oxfordshire at 6.25am. No-one was hurt in that collision.
