Burglars are thought to have used wheelie bins to break into a house in Oxford.
Police said the offenders made off with jewellery and other items after they used the bins to reach a small kitchen window in Nowell Road, Rose Hill.
The burglary is believed to have taken place between 6pm and 10pm on Friday.
And passports and jewellery were stolen during a burglary in East Oxford.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place in Barracks Lane, off Cumberland Road, early on Saturday.
The burglar broke into the ground-floor flat by breaking a bedroom window.
