A 20-year-old man is currently undergoing emergency surgery after he was stabbed following an argument at the Bowlplex venue in Greater Leys, Oxford, last night.
His condition was this morning described as 'serious'.
Police said an argument erupted at the Bowlplex, which is part of the Ozone Leisure Complex next to the Kassam Stadium, between two men at 11.30pm last night before it spilled out into the street.
Police have described the incident as a 'serious assault'.
The 20-year-old man was stabbed with what police described as a 'sharp instrument' — but it is not believed to be a knife.
