Police have arrested a man on suspicion of sexual assault following an alleged attack on an adult woman in Oxford city centre.
The alleged incident happened in Roger Bacon Lane, an alleyway adjacent to Sainsbury's in the St Ebbes area of the city, in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called at 2.26am and a scene watch in currently in place while forensic officers conduct a search of the area.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said a man in his early 30s had been arrested and was currently being held in custody.
