Two of the UK's top motoring magazines have published their annual Car of the Year results and the Nissan GT-R has driven away with a top title.
Firstly the GT-R, which is available to order now from West Way GT-R in Langford Lane, Kidlington, has taken the title of Autocar's Britain's Best Driver's Car 2008.
Nissan's new GT-R has been hailed as one of the best handling, most powerful and above all, most accessible supercars ever.
West Way GT-R, in Kidlington, one of only ten UK GT-R dealers, has already received more than 150 orders, despite the fact that deliveries do not start until March 2009.
The GT-R beat off ten other contenders for the acclaimed title including the Audi R8 and the Porsche 911 Carrera S. The Nissan GT-R also took part in CAR magazine's Performance Car of the Year beating 27 others, including the Lotus 2 Eleven and the Porsche 911 GT2, to take second behind the £143,000 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4.
