Eco changes
A change of tyres and engine oil — and hey presto, you have the Panda Eco. Fiat’s latest planet-saver has just gone on sale in Britain, with a choice of two petrol Engines, a 1.1-litre with Active trim and a 1.2-litre with Dynamic trim.
Both engines already had low carbon dioxide emissions, but the fitting of special, low-rolling resistance tyres and use of a low-viscosity engine oil helped bring the C02 output down further.
The Panda Active Eco costs £7,105 and the Panda Dynamic Eco is priced at £7,705.
