One motorist was caught almost every four minutes not wearing their seatbelt during checks by police in Oxford this morning.
Police spotted 34 motorists without their belts in vehicles turning off Wolvercote roundabout into Woodstock Road, in North Oxford, between 8am and 10am.
All of the motorists were stopped and fined £30.
Six drivers were fined £60 for using their mobile phones at the wheel and received three points on their licence.
They were all offered to attend a lesson learning about the dangers of driving while on their mobiles.
