A man visiting Faringdon for a wedding was attacked by three men.
Police said at about 12.30am on Sunday, a man was assaulted in Market Square.
PC Darren Little said: “The man was visiting Faringdon for a wedding and was assaulted outside the Wheatsheaf pub.
“There were a lot of people in Market Square around the time of the assault. I appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch.”
The 30-year-old man sustained minor injuries to his face.
