Sir — We were impressed with Dr Sunderland's letter (October 10) which highlighted an unnecessary blight on our everyday lives.
The majority of Oxford residents work hard to maintain the fabric of their homes both internally and externally.
We share a common respect for out city, our neighbourhoods and our neighbours. The owners of the properties which are let out to students have no such motivations. They just want the maximum profit for the least possible effort. Why should we have to put up with their antisocial attitudes ?
