Fire crews were called to a blaze at a farm near Didcot during the early hours today.
At 1.20am, firefighters from Wallingford, Didcot, Abingdon, Wantage, Oxford and Wheatley attended the incident at Lower Farm, Long Wittenham.
An L-shaped range of farm buildings measuring 60m by 20m was affected, with approximately 40 per cent well alight when fire crews arrived.
Due to the severity of the fire the main barn collapsed, but firefighters managed to prevent flames from spreading to neighbouring farm buildings.
Incident commander Peter Graham said: "The main barn collapsed at the height of the blaze but we managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the farm buildings."
He added that the cause of the fire was still being investigated.
