Building work on a planned hotel at the Oxfordshire Golf Club between Thame and Milton Common, due to start next month and continue to 2010, means the Ladies English Open will no longer be played on the course.
Disruption by building work has been given as the reason by owners, the Leaderboard group.
The new hotel will have 46 rooms, four suites, an indoor swimming pool and a fitness suite including a fully equipped gym, sauna and treatment rooms.
