Train operator Wrexham & Shropshire, which links Banbury with Telford, Shrewsbury and north-east Wales, will start to introduce refurbished trains next month.
The company launched its services in April using hired coaches while its own fleet was undergoing a £5.5m overhaul.
All four sets of refitted coaches should be in use by early next year, with Wi-Fi Internet access and plug sockets for laptop computers at every seat. A fifth coach might also be added.
