The Conservatives' shadow health secretary Andrew Lansley is visiting The Horton Hospital, Banbury, today.
Organised by Banbury MP Tony Baldry, Mr Lansley will have a tour of the hospital, speak to nursing staff and consultants, and have a private meeting with Andrea Young, chief executive of the Oxfordshire Primary Healthcare Trust.
Afterwards he will go to Horsefair Surgery to meet local GPs where he will discuss their concerns about changes to GP practices, in particular the proposed Darzi centre in Banbury.
