Four miniature Shetland ponies have been stolen from a paddock in Oxford.
They were taken from the paddock in Three Acres, in Sandy Lane, Horspath, some time between 7pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday, police said today.
The first pony, a 14-year-old mare called QT, is grey in colour with brown eyes and black hooves.
The second is a four-year-old filly called Jenny and is a chestnut colour with brown eyes and black hooves.
The third pony is a 10-year-old filly called Eden, who has dark eyes and is cream in colour.
The fourth is called Breeze and was only recently bought from Brightwells Auctioneers. She is a three-year-old filly who is chestnut in colour.
Pc Sarah Phillips, who is investigating the incident, said: “The owner has been left traumatised by this incident.
"I would like to hear from anyone that may have seen any suspicious people or vehicles in the area at the time.”
