Police today appealed for information after four miniature Shetland ponies were stolen from Three Acres, Sandy Lane, Horspath.

They were stolen between 7pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday.

The first pony is called QT (stud book: M98-416 AD0636, passport no: 4645.) QT is a 14-year-old mare. She has brown eyes and is grey in colour. She has a whorl at upper eye level, and no facial markings. She has black hooves, chest whorls, stifle and hip whorls near and offside.

The second pony is Jenny (stud book: M07-138 AQ2202.) Jenny is a four-year-old filly. She has brown eyes and is chestnut dun in colour. She has a chestnut whorl at lower eye level and on her neck. She has a chestnut dorsal stripe and black hooves.

The third pony is called Eden (stud book: M06-014 AH2079.) Eden is a ten-year-old filly, born on 14/06/1998. Eden has dark eyes and is cream dun in colour. She has a cream whorl at centre of upper eye level. She has a dorsal stripe and whorls on the right and left side at her hip and stifle.

The fourth pony is called Breeze and was recently bought from Brightwells Auctioneers. She is a three-year-old filly and is chestnut in colour.

PC Sarah Philips said: “The owner has been left traumatised by this incident. I would like to hear from anyone that may have seen any suspicious people or vehicles in the area at the time.”
