Police today appealed for witnesses to a crash in Kidlington in which a motorcylist was seriously injured.

At about 5pm on Friday, a Peugeot 405 saloon and Yamaha motorcycle were involved in a collision on the A4260 Banbury Road, near to the Langford Lane turn.

PC James Holstead said: “The rider of the motorcycle, a 31-year-old woman, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with serious injuries to her pelvis and arm. She is currently in a stable condition.

“The driver of the Peugeot, a 46-year-old man, was not injured during the incident.

“I appeal to anyone who was in this area of Kidlington on Friday afternoon and witnessed the collision to contact police.”
