Didcot is a town on the up.
Today we publish pictures showing what a £150m revamp could do for the town.
Didcot, built on the emergence of the railway and today living in the shadow of its giant power station, has had a rough ride image-wise and a certain stigma still remains in some quarters.
But the truth is, it has a lot going for it.
The town is growing fast — 3,000 new homes are to be built on the western edge of Didcot — it has a newly-opened arts centre and is surrounded by thriving business and industry.
These plans will only inject new life into an already-ambitious town.
