A burglar who was confronted by a resident whose house he entered was yesterday given a 12-month community order.
Oxford Crown Court heard Richard Goulding, 29, broke into Manor Farm House, Thrupp, near Kidlington, in July but was caught by William Cloke.
Goulding, of Orchard Court, Kidlington, who admitted burglary, was also ordered to attend a drug rehabilitation programme.
