A teenager killed after a collision with a coach carrying pupils to an Abingdon school today was a student at Larkmead School.
Chris Harris, headteacher at Larkmead School, in Faringdon Road, confirmed that the girl was in Year 13 and was aged 17.
The accident happened just after 8am today outside McDonald's and Abingdon police station in Colwell Drive.
The female cyclist was involved a collision with an orange Tappins coach, which was carrying pupils to Abingdon School.
Jane Warne, press officer for Abingdon School, said: "All we can confirm is that our boys were on the coach and they are well."
Colwell Drive was cordoned off and a screen was put up around the scene. The road was reopened just before 3pm.
McDonald's was also closed while police investigated the accident.
