IDA Ward had the best party ever when she celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends.
The shocked and surprised centenarian was overjoyed when she was given a party to commemorate her milestone birthday.
Ms Ward, who is a resident at Cherwood House in Buckingham Road, Caversfield, Bicester, enjoyed a slice of sponge cake, a glass of champagne, and admired the decorations put up in the bar area.
She was pleased as punch to receive a birthday card from the Queen and said she didn't feel 100 at all.
Cherwood House deputy manager Brenda Wood said: "Ida had a lovely party. There were lots of family members there - I have never seen so many at a birthday party before.
"We opened the bar area so Ida and everyone could celebrate.
"She gets on with everyone at Cherwood House and is a lovely little lady who enjoys the company of other residents."
The mother of six, grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 16, lived in Horton-Cum-Studley before joining Cherwood House in 2005.
