Two men who pretended they had lost their football sweet-talked their way inside a house and grabbed a handbag during a burglary in Lewknor, south Oxfordshire.
The burglars knocked at the door in Barley Close at 12.30pm on Wednesday and asked if they could collect their football from the back garden.
The men then walked into the house grabbed a handbag and left through the back door.
Police described one of the men as white, aged in his early 30s, around 5ft 6ins tall and fat, with short brown hair, blue eyes. He was wearing a dark green top.
The other man was described as white, aged around 30-years-old, with black, collar-length hair. He was wearing a black top with white sleeves underneath.
